ADD FUEL, Unfaded

Cette fresque d’Add Fuel est la plus grande réalisation de l’artiste à ce jour. Outre sa taille, le principal défi était d’harmoniser la décomposition de l’œuvre entre les fenêtres de la façade. Souhaitant réaliser une œuvre dynamique, l’artiste joue avec la répétition de la forme carrée, associant des motifs majoritairement constitués de nuances de bleu, soulignées par un quadrillage blanc. Outre les azulejos, composant majeur de son style, Add Fuel s’inspire ici d’éléments graphiques qu’il a pu rencontrer pendant ses voyages à Paris.

This urban painting by Add Fuel is the largest that the artist has ever executed. Apart from its sheer size, the major challenge of the operation was to harmonize the deconstruction of the work between the windows constituting the façade of the building. The artist was seeking to create a dynamic work, and plays on the repetition of the square shape, associating motifs mainly in shades of blue, accentuated by a white grid pattern. Apart from azulejos, an essential element of his style, Add Fuel takes his inspiration here from graphic elements observed during his visits to Paris.
